(June 2, 1924 -June 11, 2018)

Born in Monument Valley in 1924, Holiday attended boarding school in Tuba City before enlisting in the United States Marines Corps and training as a Code Talker. He served in the 4th Marine Division, 25th Regiment, H and S company as a Code Talker.  During the war, Holiday served in operations in Saipan, Iwo Jima, Tinian, Marshall Island and other parts of the Pacific Theater.
