World War II Era

In 1939, following the German invasion of Poland, Britain, and France declared war on Germany. The following sux extraordinary years saw 55 million people killed, all around the world as more counties became drawn into the conflict. The Axis powers (Germany, Italy, and Japan) took on the Allies (Britain and it Commonwealth, France, USSR, China, and after the Japanese Attack on Pearl harbor December 7, 1941, the USA).
